TITAN

Titan is a revolutionary procedure that helps eliminate jowls, crow’s feet
and laugh lines without going under a knife.

 

Typically, from the age of 30, once cherubic countenance evolves onto a
bottom-heavy, matronly face as the cheeks start sliding down and the
nasolabial folds become more prominent.

 

If no preventative action is taken by the time the 40s are reached, the sculptured
jaw line becomes a jowl line and a double chin starts to manifest. Titan is the first

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?

Titan has a dual mode of action, both of which are beneficial. First, sustained dermal
heating with continuous epidermal cooling alters the collagen within the skin by
shrinking the protein fibrils, which make up the collagen. As the collagen remodels,
the overlying skin is redraped and a tightening of between one and three millimeters
is obtained. Enough to visibly improve skin laxity. Secondly, any process that heats
up collagen stimulates the infiltration of fibroblasts, which are responsible for the
formation of new collagen and elastin.

This not only produces the noticeable
tightening effect but also helps to bolster the skin against future aging. The more
collagen there is in the dermis the more the skin can maintain a youthful texture.

 

COST

The cost depends on the area being targeted. Treating jowls cost between R3000
and R5000. A brow lift can cost between R750 and R2000. The neck area can cost
between R2500 and R4000 and treating crow’s feet can cost upward of R1200.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?

There is no downtime with Titan. The skin may be slightly red but this resolves
after 10 to 15 minutes. One can return to work immediately following the procedure.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

On average two to three treatments are required but the effects can last up to
four years.
A series of two treatments sessions spaced one month apart is recommended.
